Chuck reads snippets of, 'A Sticky Situation'
"You can't hurry sad" Jojo told us...
Fox 12 in Portland, Oregon, talks with Chuck about books, kindness, and Sticky!
Chuck talks with NBC about books, and Sticky's story.
"I met Jack and his little brother Charlie at a book signing. Charlie was so shy that he wouldn't talk to me. When I leaned down to take a picture with him, he whispered "I want to be like you." I whispered back, "I want to be like you too..." I'll never forget Charlie's smile."
Sticky's day didn't start out so good...he was found by Chuck Hawley at 5 weeks old, covered in glue and stuck to a road. The story of a kitten (who would also end up being deaf) that was just needing some help, and a simple act of kindness would quickly spread around the world giving hope to millions and changing the lives of thousands of people, inspiring a kindness movement and an award winning series of Children's books. Sticky the Kitty books teach kindness, understanding and empathy through hilarious stories and a great cast of characters based on Sticky's real life adopted brothers and sisters. A Sticky Situation can be found in English as well as Spanish, and all of the books can be found in libraries, schools, and homes in over 20 countries around the world. Proceeds from each sale go towards donating books to children in low income and underserved communities. Thanks for your support! We appreciate you!
