Awesome book. Not for kids but everyone else should take the time to read

I love everything that Chuck Hawley has written. Awesome writer, wize story teller, beautiful heart, awesome person and role model, just freaking awesome. This book is different than his others. It reaches out and grabs your soul. If you have ever loved an animal and then lost him due to death, this book puts those feelings into words.

I was so thrilled to read this journey of Mr. Hawley, when his friend and partner in hope went suddenly to the rainbow bridge. He takes us through every moment and feeling, with family support and Sticky actually finding Allen, by accident, to journey with him. He shows how grief opens a Pandora's box to our deepest discoveries about ourselves. And, he brings us with him the misty dawn of rebirth.

This book is very deep. Chuck rawly describes how his famous feline companion of 6 years, had given him a renewed life mission and sense of purpose to help others, and the loss he encountered when his feline suddenly passes away. What happens when that grief snowballs and takes him to the depths of hell and how he lost himself and his purpose. When no one could possibly know the struggle and how that grief dug up a lifetime of personal struggles, failures, and disappointments which farther compounded the downward spiral. Anyone dealing with grief, loss, crushing anxiety, loss of purpose and self, or suicidal thoughts needs to read this story. There is hope!
